C) Agreeing on the programme

Things to do before the December meeting in Vienna :

  • Decorate our Erasmus corners with all the docs and great posters given by our partners, and take pictures.
  • Presentation of our city/region possibly on a web document using « thinglink » (can include short videos, recordings, photos, drawings, texts…). Doc posted on the twinspace and on the project web page, on the school site(also on a DVD).
  • Send  Marian the list of our  pupils with first name, age, gender.
  • Marian will match them (penpal scheme). The postcards will be sent to each school.
  • Invite our pupils on the twinspace: they complete their profile and add a picture.
  • Invite our colleagues who are part of our Erasmus team to register on e-twinning, then invite them to be part of our contacts so as to finally invite them to the project twinspace.
  • Pupils work in groups to do research about the partner cities/regions and decide on the places they would like to visit when they go there (powerpoint? poster?). It will be presented in Vienna.
  • Create a page on our school website or a blog devoted to the project (in our native language: presentation of the partner countries and cities, reports on the activities and meetings, travel diaries, programme…)
  • Germany creates a web page where we will upload our material in English (in addition to the twinspace which is not public, even if we can make a page public).
  • Use of Google drive or dropbox to share documents.
  • Introduce the Europass
  • Prepare official documents (related to the trip) for our Education Authorities.
  • Contact the local media

Pupils going to Vienna :

  • start thinking about a logo for the project (drawing or digital- brought to Vienna)
  • organize a meeting with them and their parents (present the week in Vienna; make sure they have a valid passport, European Health Insurance Card; list of things to bring …)
  • learn some basic words and phrases in German
  • tell them about the travel diary they will have to write →individual work (choose 1 or 2 pupils who will write it in English so as to be posted both on the twinspace and on the webpage created by Germany). Also paper travel diary (with pictures, tickets, leaflets, drawings …) →group work

3)  Visits and cultural activities (see the programme sent by Andrea)
